theVictorianPablo Honey is a perfectly nice album. "You" is a genuinely good track.

Thank you.

I don't see a huge difference between The Bends and Pablo Honey. Yes, progress, but if you like The Bends there's much to like on Pablo Honey.

Well musically The Bends is more complex, but that doesn't necessarily means it's that much better. I think The Bends is better that Pablo Honey but there isn't the same level of progression between both albums that there is between The Bends and Ok Computer.

I think I listen to Pablo Honey more than The Bends these days.

DetrimentalThen I guess Radiohead, NIrvana, The Doors and Led Zeppelin

I was gonna say King of Limbs is boring, but it's not a bad?album. I'm interpreting this as "which musicians have only released great albums" because I want to. I'm adding Kanye to this list.

I've had about enough of your King of Limbs bashing, young man.

I haven't listened to Pablo Honey because I've benefited from the wisdom of my elders, but King of Limbs is their worst album.

Yeah, but it's not boring. You're boring.

Rolling Stones: Beggars' Banquet - Exile on Main Street

DetrimentalPavement? I've only heard two albums by them, but they're both pretty amazing.

Which ones? (Also, fuck the haters.)

Anyway, Brighten the Corners is my favorite Pavement album.

Really though how could I have forgotten The Smiths. They're probably in my top 10.

It would be easier to dissect "best overall discography" as some bands have large output with few gems and many doggers. Out of who I listed I can't think of a better overall album arch than The White Stripes. I wouldn't change a thing there

There are only but two The White Stripes albums I thought where every song was amazing. I guess that qualifies them to be on the list. But know that Radiohead has a much greater standing on said list than The White Stripes could ever have.

Radiohead v The White Stripes is an interesting pair off. I mean, Radiohead is the stronkest but Jack White could probably win a guitar duel against Thom Yorke

Yeah but would he win against "Johnny Greenwood" that's the question you should be asking.

I think so overall, especially with Jack White's awesome drumming in The Dead Weather. He has such a large body of quality work all with their own flavor, along with a quality production studio - check out Seasick Steve

That being said, Johnny Greenwood pulled the guitar solo Jack White wished he came up with in Paranoid Android. I'd call that my favorite guitar solo if pressed
