Boston College crushed FSU last night 35-3, a week after demolishing a 5-1 Virginia team 41-10. Three of BC's four losses have come against Clemson, Notre Dame, and Virginia Tech, all of which were ranked in the top 15 as of this week, with the other loss against a frisky Wake Forest squad.

BC will likely beat Syracuse and Uconn and lose against NC State, also ranked in the top 15 at the moment to finish the season. 7-5 doesn't sound awesome on paper, but BC has to have one of the hardest schedules in the country with 5 freaking games against top 15 teams.

Losing Harold Landry will hurt, but BC's offensive leaders in passing, rushing, and receiving are all freshman, and the future looks very bright after quite a long run of mediocre to terrible football over the past 8 years.

Dear J.T. Barrett,

I want to take this time to apologize for how I talked about you earlier this afternoon.

"He can't do..."
"He's not good at..."
"This is his last season at Ohio State and he doesn't seem to be improving".

I was crushing you -- but to be fair, I was really giving it to the man (men?) who was in charge if calling plays

Right after I 'd said to a friend, "...this team lacks a true leader.-- someone who will put the team on his back and say, 'I am going to win this!'", you went 16-16 for 170 yards and 3 TDs in the fourth quarter. That shut me up. Then I took a look at those stats. 33-36, 328, 4 TDs (no interceptions and 95 rush yards) and realized I'd been unfair to you..

The team was aloppy, the play calling was garbage, the special teams coach needs to be fired (get a kicker who can kick the ball through the end zone), but you made all of that irrelevant.

I'm sorry for my shitty hot takes

The Badgers defense is annihilating Iowa. It's the most dominant defensive performance I've seen in some time. They're also moving the ball well on offense. And they're only up three because they keep making really stupid, drive-killing mistakes.

Hornibrook needs to be beaten with socks filled with soap bars like that scene in full metal jacket.

What do you think about the Ohio State matchup?

Earlier in the season I was more confident that Wisconsin would win that hypothetical game. It's a good match up for them. They've been taken on some worrying injuries since then and I'm less confident now. It's a coin flip game imo.

I'd be fine with the Browns drafting Mayfield.
