Bill O'Reilly's dick sure is expensive

So a few days ago the New York Times reported that the cost incurred by Fox News and O'Reilly because of O'Reilly's penis was in the range of 13 million. This would work out, in case you were wondering, to somewhere in the ballpark of 2.36 million an inch. It now appears that companies are pulling their ads from his show. I don't know if that would sink it considering its healthy ratings and Fox's, uh, lenient attitude toward sexual harassment, but it's something, right?

His excuse that his accusers are in it for the money because he's rich and famous is hysterical, considering a majority of men who are rich and famous are not subjected to multiple accusations of predatory behavior. Like, Bill, c'mon.

Anyway, how much dick-damage do you think your employer would cover? Fifty bucks? Fifty bucks, for me, sounds about right.

I doubt Wig racks up costs from dick damage. Maintenance? Sure. Keeping that whole area looking neat yet natural is not cheap.

19 companies have now withdrawn their ads from his time slot (but they are being reallocated elsewhere and hence not exactly destroying Fox's bottom line.

That there is so little movement on this on behalf of Fox is just so very maddening.

Trump to the rescue! Trump comments, saying "I don't think Bill did anything wrong." And that he shouldn't have settled. From one pussy-grabber to another. How sweet.

Isn't it Sexual Assault Awareness Month? That makes it extra special.

One thing I didn't expect, after Trump's election, was seeing so many of these awful right-wingers/fascists crash and burn so soon after the election. Conway, Flynn, O'Reilly, etc. It's like they're collapsing under the weight of their bullshit and toxicity.

Man, Bill O'Reilly has always been a moralising blowhard, so this is fucking sweet.

I wonder if he has any defenders in right wing media.

I can understand the severe pushback conservatives are getting at this phase. There is no SotU address to salve the throbbing hatred like there was when Obama was in office. Trump isn't a daddy figure. He doesn't soothe the unease, he creates more of it. So people who represent Trump, people who can be attacked, are being attacked and shut down. This is a good thing. If you can't demolish an ugly house, you can at least level the foundation it sits upon.

Not that we can't be glad for O'Reilly's fall, but before you celebrate too much you have to be aware that he's being replaced by a younger, more racist version of himself. If O'Reilly somehow manages to win a "comeback" contract with some other media property, the whole media universe just shifted rightward in a bad way.

My first guess was that he would start his own podcasting network and employ Alex Jones and other embarrassing retards to fill out the daytime slot. He could still make a lot of money that way.
