When I ruptured my Achilles' tendon. It ft as if my heel broke off (I simply couldn't feel it any more). I realize that some injuries are more severe than ofhers, ?but it always amazes me when someone walks on a torn Achilles.?

Former Packers TE Martellus Bennett claimed on waivers by the New England Patriots, per source.

Awesome news. Patriots get a second opportunity to put Gronk and Bennett out there together. Strategically, it will also help the Patriots two biggest flaws on offense; (1) Red-Zone TD % and (2) pass protection. Brady/McDaniels can keep either TE in for 6-man-protection, while still having a potential coverage mismatch with the other TE as an active receiver.

Also, it's perfect timing, too. The Patriots are playing @ Denver this Sunday Night; and it was Von Miller's 2015 playoff performance against NE that made Belichick acquire Bennett in 2016.

But will Bennett even suit up this Sunday? It sounds like he'd be super limited if he plays at all. I mean, NE will win, so I wouldn't be too worried about that part.

Earl Thomas means a bit more for that secondary and D overall, but losing Richard Sherman is a brutal blow to Seattle.

Thursday night games suuuuuuck.

Browns and Texans lose; San Francisco wins. (Browns also have the Texans' second round pick.) Another special offseason for my Browns.

ShocKedSpecial teams.

One was great, the other was historically bad. It was a group effort.

The Bronco's DST have hurt me pretty bad these past two weeks, but they've been historically reliable, and their remaining schedule is pretty easy, so I won't be breaking up with them. (My league's championship is week 16).

You could have watched the Steelers from the start of last season to reach the same conclusion. I don't think he's "done," but he's a bit washed. He hasn't been the same for roughly his last 25 starts. This seems to be something overlooked by even most Pittsburgh writers/fans. I think it's been clear, other's don't.

Jerry Jones, rebuked.

Jones and Goodell are both awful human beings. Most of the rest of the NFL owners probably are too. It's a pathetic spectacle.
