I liked Wonder Woman but do not get the fanaticism. I loved Robin Wright's character best.

I think Gal Gadot was very good but she was missing a quality of fierceness I expected to see in an Amazon. She was too soft for me. I needed like some, I don't know, real Jewish nose or something.

ejSo, neum, what are we to make of Kylo flying back towards his mother into some gaping oblong hole, his shaking hand poised to pull the trigger?

Oedipal thermal exhaust ports. THEY'RE GOING THERE.

BigwigAnyway, that's just part of the trailer. I didn't like it for other reasons. Also, don't kill off Luke. I didn't wait thirty years to see the entire original cast get slaughtered.

I don't like you for other reasons.

I feel the same about the film--we're two hearts beating as one, Rabid. Except for the racism. That's all you.

Also, the further I get from seeing it, the worse Blade Runner 2049 seems and the better Blade Runner seems.

I watched a little zero-budget sci-fi film called Coherence. I was prepared to switch it off during the first five minutes because of the sheer middle-class unbearableness of the cast, but it evolved into something genuinely good. The premise is pleasingly mindbending and I don't want to give any of it away but if you enjoy a movie that challenges you to pay attention to every detail, this is good entertainment.

I don't think 2049 can be described as bad at all, but it feels like far more of a generic sci-fi epic than the original.

That score is more or less accurate and everything, but man what kind of review is this?

Jean probably saves his real reviews for whatever Magic: The Gathering forum he's spending most of his time at.

We should all post horror favorites, because October.

I don't know if I posted about The Babadook (which I saw recently), but it's excellent. So, you know, watch that. I'm still in love with It Follows. And a small independent film directed by John Carpenter from the late 70s called Halloween.

I also don't remember if I posted about Rogue One, but my original thoughts were that it was on it's way to being a??(the fuck happened to the tomato emoji, goddamnit) for me until the final fifteen minutes. I would have said 3/5 stars. But I rewatched it and I think it's better than that. Given how good The Force Awakens was, I think it's safe to say that we're all ready for George Lucas to die. Preferably tomorrow.
