The Steam Summer Sale is going today. Not a ton that I'm going to get, but so far I've grabbed: Dishonored 2 (20 bucks), Transistor (like 2 bucks), and Salt and Sanctuary (10ish).

Other stuff I noticed that people might want: RE7 (35) and Hitman Season 1 (24).

I was getting a little tired of playing the same games all the time and so decided to give Prey a shot. It is sort of a sci-fi space version of Dishonored (it's made by the same studio). I was enjoying it for a while but I think I'm relatively near the end and the difficulty just suddenly went from manageable to fuck you, and I have it set on "easy." Makes me want to bash the disc into a million pieces with a hammer. After my disappointment with Dishonored 2 and now this, I am fairly sure I won't buy another game made by Arkane. It's a shame because I really liked the first Dishonored.

You better put that game on normal or i'm going to consider you a bitch from now on.

Persona 5 has much better gameplay than it's predecessor. They added all these new features to the battle system that makes grinding a lot more fun. The story is good too, but I can't tell if it's better than the last one's yet. (/spoilers) I really hope Kamoshida gets what's coming to him though and I don't mind if the Phantom Thieves kill him (/spoilers)

Fun Meow fact: I was in the live-action commercial for this video game when it was called Prey 2 (or when they were planning a sequel, not this reboot? This was like 2011 I think). There is a picture of me somewhere with half my face ripped off because I got sucked out of an airplane during an alien attack. It was extremely fun and I got a decent check.

So I got this new CPU and it makes running that new PS3 emulator and Wii U emulator a lot better. I can now run both Catherine and Zelda:Botw at full speed. Only problem with BOTW is it crashes too much, let's hope they fix that up in a couple of months.

For the right person, Firewatch--a game in the Gone Home-style of play--could be one of the most affecting, transformative games they play. I wasn't quite that person. I appreciated it more than loved it. But it's definitely going to slam into somebody hard.

I like Horizon Zero Dawn. It rips off some of the best elements of Far Cry (like outpost liberation) and combines them with fun, consistently challenging combat against giant robot dinosaurs, decent lore, and actual mysteries it's fun to explore. Another game better than Breath of the Wild.

I want to get into this game more, but all my gaming time is relegated to Black Ops 3 and trying (and failing) to get better at Bloodborne.

I am currently playing No Man's Sky again. The latest upgrade - on top of the previous two upgrades - has improved the game considerably.

it's still a beautiful game. There isn't really a point to it, and that's the point. You just chill out and do it.

That looks more like Megaman X than Mega Man. There is a very important nerdy difference between them and you should know that.

I have not much time for playing long games like Assassin's Creed or GTA (unfortunately). At work (when I have a break) I play small flash games, generally on http://www.friv1000games.org . My favorite ones are Mass Mayhem: Zombie Apocalypse and Feed Us . They help me to chill out.

Bibi Rosewood makes me realize that I do miss Grebdron. We really need him here, scamming on Bibi as if she were real.
