The latest Curb was probably the most like early Curb, but it still wasn't all that good. This season is a huge disappointment.

Superb Discovery this week, even if every Klingon dialogue scene in this show seems interminable.

Any thoughts on the season if not show finale of Nathan For You?

I've been seeing raves all over the net about how great it was, and while it was good, it was a bit too far on the cringe-creepy side for me. Sure, it did make you think about past decisions, and made you think about regret and all, but I was often bored. And while I know it wasn't aiming for immense laughs, more than about 3 in a double-length finale would have been nice.

BoJack Horseman - Season 2 (2015) - 70

I like this show. It's a good show. Do I, at least somewhat, resent it for taking my newfound home and dragging it through the muck episode after episode while continually forcing me to confront existential questions that I'd rather not tackle at the moment? Yes.

That's pretty lame. The people who create this show live in that same cesspool (and work in the industry...) and deal with those same questions and produce a fantastic show from those feelings and experiences. Stop being so insecure.

Crazy Ex-Girlfriend's last 2 episodes have been among the series' best. As a character is bottoming out, the show reaches new artistic heights and is back to slaying.

What are you, new? You're talking about a Jean review.

Bojack Horseman in general is one of the best depictions of clinical depression I've seen in any media, but there's one season four episode in particular that really hits home.

That fucking voice. It never really goes away.

Hulu canceled Difficult People. I loved it but three seasons is about right. It was great at what it did but there wasn't much variety to it. Anyway, we still have Billy Eichner on twitter, so it's kind of like the show wasn't canceled anyway.

Turns out the last episode of season three was a decent finale episode, even if it wasn't meant to be. Maybe they suspected the cancellation was coming.

(I am never going to stop thrashing at the universe about the canceled vs cancelled thing. I try to stick to the more economical one-l approach but then my spell-checker complained about "cancelation." AAAARRRRRRGGGGGH.)

There's a mental hurdle for me in accepting a central plot device of Mr. Robot that has increasingly manifested in reality-breaking ways this season. Despite my struggle with giving in to this fictional world and its mechanics and a creeping sense of plot recycling, I continue to be absolutely in love with the performances and the way things are staged and shot. The last two episodes have been super-tense.

The Good Place.

Binged watched the first 2/3rds of the first season. Enjoyable if a little broad for my tastes.

You must watch all the way to the season finale. (And beyond.)

I like you, but if you have an opinion without watching the whole season, you're doing it wrong.

Is anyone still watching Mr. Robot? Season 3 is surprisingly much better than the season 2. The past two episodes were actually pretty great, even if it did start to feel a little too close to ripping off it's inspiration to just be homage.
